Kalmus has just the snare part, of course I bought it 22 years ago!

YES, play the concerto with the snare part, otherwise you are playing
half of a duet.

Hey gang,

I will be performing the Nielsen Concerto in a month or two. I am doing
it with piano accompaniment and was informed that it is customary to
have
the snare drum part played. In the piano score there are snare drum
cues,
but there doesn't seem to be as much of a part as I hear in the
orchestral
recordings (Stevensson, Drucker, Schill). I guess my question is, is
the
snare drum part reduced for the piano version or is there an extra part
I
need to buy? Thanks for the information, I appreciate it.
