I would like to let all of you know about a wonderful new edition of the
Bach Six unaccompanied Suites for Cello.

This edition was prepared and published by my colleague Julie Ann
Giacobassi who is the English Horn player with the San Francisco Symphony.
She originally published these with the English Horn in mind, but they are
suitable for any treble clef instrument. They are not transposed form the
orginal, but are in treble clef. I have found them to be particularly
effective on the bass clarinet and have been using them as a warm up. They
are, of course, quite challenging and wonderful for the soul.

These are published in a very nice looking and thoughtfully spaced format.
The plastic laminated cover should last very well over time.

The price is $24 + shipping (I think about $4).
