I'm at present entering the C clarinet parts into Sibelius, because the
editor helpfully provided only parts transposed for Bb clarinet. (I
could transpose on the fly without too much difficulty, but somehow it
seems more *honourable* to produce proper parts. When I've done it,
anyone here who wants is welcome to a pair of C clarinet parts.

DNL asks:

What work is this Tony? I was not aware that Sibelius had written parts
for C, but that is because I rarely had an opporunity to play S's music.
The only one I did was symphony 7 (a terrific piece) and doubled 1st on
symphony 5 to give the principle player a rest.

As for the Beethoven 7 being a screamer, it is a loud piece from front
door to last, so hang on to your lip.
