Dan -

Apparently Clara was a "virtuoso" on more than the piano.

Both Brahms and I worked in various brothels, but he was far more
serious about his work than I was. I kept asking him what all the hanky
panky was about with the girls and he told me to shove my basset horn up
my nose.

Nasty man. You should hear the stories about him and Bob Schumann's
wife. Now that's hot stuff! Clara was a hoot. Knew how to give a
fella a good time. Give her a couple of beers and she would play polkas
on the piano 'till you couldn't sit still.

Hell of a girl.
