Save yourselves some money if a CD gets stuck in your computer. The
small pinhole next to the aperture on floppy and CD drives on Macs and CD
drives on PCs is a manual override of the drives locking mechanism. To
open the drive straighten out a paperclip and push it into that hole.
Wiggle it about a little and you will feel it catch something. Push the
clip inwards at this point and the drive will pop open. Culled from the
