There has been major controversy in the music industry about this. To make
a long story short, these cds violate DMCA standards because you cannot make
a personal copy for yourself. The Dutch have taken Sony to court about this
because of the damage that it can do to computers and the DMCA violation.
Not to worry, though, supposedly there is a workaround to defeat this copy
protection: A felt tipped marker.
