Ahhh, "The Glory of the Human Voice"....I remember an assignment in a
class one time that we had to listen to the recording and comment on it
in a paper. Some of the other student's reactions were really amusing,
and those who didn't listen to it and thought they could write about it
and B.S. their way through stood out like red thumbs! The funniest part
about the whole thing is that Florence Foster Jenkins actually thought
that she had *talent*. The "Queen of the Night" aria gave me goosebumps
<grin>, and the guy who sings with her on the album sounds like Elmer
Fudd on crack.
