Think of all the people that don't go to ____ for fear of ____.

NYC - being mugged
Paris/Rome - pickpockets
Tokyo - being squeezed into a subway/being lost
...

Not rational fears given the statistics/methods for avoiding these problems,
but who ever said human beings are rational?
