I agree to a certain extent - I do like to hear people's opinions
occasionally, though, because it's always nice to know that a particular
piece of equipment works well for someone. This doesn't necessarily mean it
will work for me or anyone else but it's a confirmation that it might be
worth looking at sometime.

As for the reeds I use, well, the point I meant to make is that, while I do
find noticeable differences between the different varieties that I've tried,
the question of which is "better" is daft because it depends on so many
individual factors about the music you're playing. ;-)

Bill Wright's post about finding his "nickel-and-dime store" ligature to be
the most suited to his new clarinet really ought to be put up in lights just
to warn people about daft statements like this!
