I did have a hot one a couple of years ago. Good news: it was an evening
concert and direct sunlight was not a factor. Bad news: the temperature at
starting time was over 100 degrees and the humidity was not lagging too far
behind. As you played you prayed for an 8-bar rest so you could wipe the
sweat off your face and out of your eyes. You got broiled, we just stewed
in our own juices!
