Hi List,

I am currently doing research into woodwinds made by Boosey & Co between c. 1870
and 1930. In the Boosey records I have found references to Smythe's patent
relating to the clarinet, but have found next to no mention of this patent in
clarinet literature. Does anyone know why Smythe was and what his patent was
for? Could any one refer me to any books that might contain information about?
