I went to a friend's senior trombone recital many years back, wherein he
performed a piece for "tribone". He placed two trombones at the foot of
the stage, spaced toward the far right & left, and tethered garden hoses
from each of the trombones to the one he was holding. He then proceeded
to alternately play his trombone, one or the other of the two trombones by
manipulating the F-trigger on his own, and possibly two or all three of
them at once. It was both odd and interesting.
