Breath tonguing. I learned it that way some 35 years ago, and my teacher never
caught it. I continue to use it today. In my case, it happens in the throat,
presumably by toggling the epiglottis the way most normal folks use the tongue.

I assume there is a special circle of hell reserved for me.

And, by the way, "Toggling the epiglottis" would be a great name for a punk
rock band.
