Actually they couldn't do anything about it, according to them. Their
slides were out as far as they could without falling off. It was really hot
and humid on that particular day.

This is one of the reasons I play drums, also. I can get louder than a
trumpet and I'm always
in tune with myself and the band, considering the fact that I play in the
constant Key of A-thud.
