Last summer I met someone at the Fest with a Rossi. She loved it and it
played wonderfully well for her. It didn't come with a case though and she
was carrying it around rolled up in bubble wrap and a towel. I can't
imagine not selling a case with an instrument, especially one that is in one
piece. You can't even buy a stock case for it. I don't know if she ever
had a case made or not. It was an absolutely beautiful clarinet and it
played well for her, so I guess if not having a case didn't't bother her,
then it shouldn't bother me either.

Yes, but then ALL clarinets have a large amount of hand work involved. I
believe Woodwind and Brasswind carries Rossi clarinets, and if you search
the archives here, you will find many references to Rossi, all positive.

If you have to mic a saxophone, the rest of the band is TOO LOUD!
