Playing in a large group (ie concert/symphonic band)
has perhaps more challenges than that of a smaller
ensemble. Intonation and balance are critical and
perhaps more difficult to achieve with a larger group,
and even more so with varying degrees of skill levels
in the group. But, that aside, don't get discouraged
playing the clarinet because of your community band.
Keep on clarineting!
