"Out of" whatever sources the editor used to construct his edition.
Since there has not yet been issued a "critical commentary" to this
volume, I don't know what those sources were. But a contrast of the NMA
with a bunch of sources I know very well show clearly that the editor
took out a lot of articulations.

After all, Tony, the guy had to use something to create his edition.
For sure he did not take it entirely out of his head. Most of the
editors of the NMA volumes began with an existing edition and a bottle
of snow-pake. And, let me assure you, I used up a gallon of that stuff,
taking out crap that had been hanging around for 2 centuries.
