"Never" is kind of a broad statement to make - we at NMSU use the terms
"beefer" and "ayfer" almost as prolifically as we do "eefer."

I commonly use "beefer" on this list whenever I'm making comparisons
between Bb and Eb (not that I do it that often, but in the few years I've
been here, I know I've done it...and I've seen others use the term as
well).
