Dear Ross,

That's exactly what happened. I was playing while standing in the
airstream of a very quiet floor fan. The effect was kind of startling
because it covered the entire range of the instrument. In the past, I
have had double tones occur for one or two notes, and the cause was
always attributable to some kind of vibration in a key.
