Well, if it's gotta be, it's gotta be, but there are other alternatives
including B-flat clarinets. If you get a pair of alto clarinets that
have the slightest intonation problems, you'll wish you never did it
that way.

And please don't tell me that you are going to use a contrabassoon. I
don't think I could stand it without cold compresses on my head.
