That sounds like a fun concert. (I didn't realize Hamilton is
considered "Upper Canada"- is that like Upper Egypt and Lower
Egypt?). For more fun your group could do the JS Bach concerto for 2
violins in D minor- with transposing up a step you only need 5 Bb
clarinets plus bass(es) and contra(s) for the continuo line. I did it
in high school in 1984, having hand-written all the parts myself. (I
blended well with the rest of the kids, can you tell?) If your group
is interested, for some future concert, I could prepare a legible
version in Sibelius for you.
