Just goes to prove people don't like change, no matter how insignificant
the change.

Maybe it is time to re tell the story behind the name sneezy again Mark,
just to show how unrelated to anything clarinet that name is.

Take some deep breaths Tony, it will be alright.... Mark will keep
those big nasty flutes away from you. If you did donate any money to
this terrible dictator who then ran off and started a GASP! Woodwind
list with your hard earned money, please write me with the amount you
gave and your address and I shall mail you a full refund out of my own
pocket. I wish I could make them pay you back, but other that reading
the list and donating money I don't have anything to do with it....but
at least you won't be out anything.

Mark, thanks for all the work, time and money you've put in
over the years, please don't let the loons get you down. ; )

I believe it to be quite wrong and short-sighted to think about changing
the
name of this clarinet list. 95% of this lists` subject matter is
clarinet. I
for one do not wish to sift thru` and eliminate 75% of content, from
flute,
oboe, and bassoon postings which is what we would have to do if the
change
to "woodwind" potentially attracted these extras.
WHY CAN`T WE HAVE AN EXCLUSIVELY CLARINET LIST. Why have we been
subjected
to an appeal for funds, to then be dictated to when someone decides that
the
clarinet list is to be disbanded, and replaced with a woodwind list
instead?
Without any apology, I think this stinks. SOD THE FLUTE PLAYERS. SOD THE
OBOISTS`. SOD THE BASSOONISTS`, and TALK CLARINET IN
HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
