List,
I believe it to be quite wrong and short-sighted to think about changing the
name of this clarinet list. 95% of this lists` subject matter is clarinet. I
for one do not wish to sift thru` and eliminate 75% of content, from flute,
oboe, and bassoon postings which is what we would have to do if the change
to "woodwind" potentially attracted these extras.
WHY CAN`T WE HAVE AN EXCLUSIVELY CLARINET LIST. Why have we been subjected
to an appeal for funds, to then be dictated to when someone decides that the
clarinet list is to be disbanded, and replaced with a woodwind list instead?
Without any apology, I think this stinks. SOD THE FLUTE PLAYERS. SOD THE
OBOISTS`. SOD THE BASSOONISTS`, and TALK CLARINET IN
HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
