Hi Karl,
some of my students have tryed to start play slap tongue with suction.
I can say to you that the effect I make is made without suction.
I can play any not without air: just the reed beeting against the
mouthpiece.
I realy don't know if it is possible to make in another way, but if suction
would work, you won't be able to play it together with the air.
