I had all four wisdom teeth removed about 17 years ago. The lower left tooth
was actually upside down, so extraction had to be performed from inside the
jaw. This resulted in a bruised mandible nerve. To this day I still have a
slight numbness in the lower lip, which is very sensitive to cold climates.
My playing is not really affected, but do tell your endontist to be careful
with that nerve... on either side!
