The Taipei Orchestra web site [ www.tso.gov.tw ] indicates that Anthony
Gigliotti made the following recordings presumably with their orchestra:

Rochberg Concerto and Argento Capriccio
CD: BRAVO 20125

Strauss Duet-Concertino with Mark Gigliotti
Ponchielli Il Convegno with William Chen
[Mozart and Weber Bassoon Concertos - Mark Gigliotti]
CD: BRAVO 20126

In February I sent a message to the orchestra inquiring how I could obtain
copies of the CD's. The response said that the CD's haven't been released
but they would notify me when they are if I would send my name and mailing
address. I replied with the information but haven't heard from them yet.

Incidentally, the Minnesota Orchestra web site indicates that this season
Burt Hara is scheduled to record the Argento Capriccio with the Minnesota
Orchestra under the Reference Recordings label.

Just a word about myself since this is my first post to this list:

Many years ago I spent four years in the Navy Band as a clarinetist.
Subsequently, I got a degree in math and some years later a degree in
computer science. My first computer job was with the Coast and Geodetic
Survey as a scientific programmer for their World Wide Satellite
Triangulation Project. Then I spent several years working in computer
graphics at the NOAA Computer Center which provided the large main frame
computing power for the Weather Bureau. I ended my career as manager of the
NOAA Administrative Computer Center. Over the years I have occasionally
played the clarinet, but it has been only since I retired that I've found the
time to play the clarinet again with some degree of satisfaction.

I've followed this list for some time. In my opinion, the discussions here
are outstanding. And I greatly appreciate all those who generously share a
lot of valuable information for the benefit of everyone.
