Though it doesn't seem to have been common for the several years prior to
1987, The Clarinet article on the Boston Symphony clarinet section in Volume
14, No.2 (Winter 1987) provided a section history back to 1881. I can try
scanning and transmitting it to you if you do not have access to the
magazine. I do not know what is available in the magazine after Vol.15.
Perhaps other listers have information from later issues of the magazine if
the practice of providing section histories was continued from time to time
in later years.
