Jim,

Maybe *I* am missing something. You were talking about
an articulated G#/C#, right? I was talking about an
extra lever for the right hand to access the G#/C# key
mechanism in addition to the left hand lever that is
standard. Are we talking about the same thing? I'd be
really interested, as I haven't seen this dual
mechanism on the clarinet, but only on oboe and
english horn. The articulated G# I am familiar with on
clarinet is like the saxophone mechanism to close the
G#/C# key while the right hand fingers are down, even
if you are holding the G# lever down.

Tell me if I'm off...and if I am, I'd LOVE to see your
clarinets sometime!
