Dear List Members,

Thank you all very much for the last fund drive. It brought in about
$6500 from 181
people which will buy us 2 new servers and comes close to providing
bandwidth for the
coming year.

After much reflection on the amount of time I spend keeping the Web site
and
mailing lists going, I have decided that it would make sense for
Sneezy.Org to become
a non-profit corporation and seek 501(c)(3) status. This would allow
donations made
by US taxpayers to possibly be tax deductions and will also allow me to
pursue grants
from philanthropic organizations to do more things with more people.

To that end I will be seeking a small number of board members to assist
with this
endeavor. If you feel that you could devote some time and effort towards
this and have
some experience that you feel would contribute to the success of a small
non-profit,
please feel free to contact me.

I'll keep everyone posted on the progress - I have to get my "ducks in a
row" so to
speak so that I can form the corporation and get all the blasted
paperwork in order.

Again, thanks, and without the support of people like those listed at
http://www.sneezy.org/Pledge.html this site and the service it provides
would cease to
exist.
