But how do you KNOW that a roomful of clarinet-playing nuns will NOT read
it, either directly on the list, or through the archives later? Why would
a man of your reputation particularly wish to present yourself as a boor to
these innocent people? If you and I were talking one-on-one in my living
room, your full vocabulary could be used without complaint from me. I only
get embarrassed FOR you when you allow it to be broadcast indiscriminately
to the entire globe.

Yes, I suppose we SHOULD bring all of ourselves to MUSIC. But one of the
things we should bring with us to internet DISCUSSION of clarinet-related
issues is civility.

Actually, I was hoping that you considered us to be worth enough that you
would treat us with respect. Your inability, or unwillingness, to do
that, as I said before, reflects badly upon you.
