I can't concur more on this point.
I am the email administrator for my firm and out of desperation have been
doing this for about a year.
I currently "filter" about 3,000 messages a day. Everything from unsolicited
advertisements to hard core pornography.
Everything has it's place I suppose, but work is not one of them for this
type of mail.
I also recognize that many of these things have different prominence in
different cultures and societies. What one culture would consider shocking
is completely acceptable in another as the norm.
We all need to recognize that this is a world-wide list and members come
from diverse backgrounds and each is entitled to his or her opinion.
Best just to try and stay on topic and not go down this road too far lest
fist fights break out.
How about we all just drop this thread and go back to discussing clarinet
things.
