Couldn't agree more. I remember that when I was growing up in a
somewhat-rough area of Providence RI more years ago than I care to admit, I
became conscious that I had two vocabularies - one for the street and one
for home, and woe betide me should I get them mixed up. This is not about
liberty - it is about civility. Unfortunately, there are people who will
do ANYTHING to attract attention to themselves.
BTW, I do not include the original author of the offensive subject line in
the latter category, but I do include those who defend this as appropriate
to a clarinet list.
