The Firm Herbert Wurlitzer had a booth at the 2000 Clarinet Fest in Ostend,
Belgium. There I asked Mr. Wurlitzer (Herbert's son who succeded his father) about
reform Boehm basset horns. They did still make them. The price was around DM 20,000
(10,000 Euro).

By the way, the Wurlitzer Trio (from Holland of course!) also played on them. They
sounded marvelous!
