Here's another transposition which I think is very useful: playing C parts on the A clarinet. I
use the A for the opening of 'La Traviata' and Rossini wrote an opera, 'Armida' which has a huge
solo in E major, written for C clarinet. The trills are much easier on the A clarinet.
