The only more secure player that I can think of was Gino Cioffi. He
once was playing a piece in 15-3/4 time with the BSO. Mazzeo leaned
over and said to him, "Gino, are you OK with this crazy meter?" Cioffi
said, "Sure, that my collar size!" (Actually he said, "Shu -- ats-a my
colla size" but dialect is difficut to write precisely.)
