Bob,

There is myriad information contained in the KLARINET Archives on the
subject. You are aware of the searchable KLARINET Archives, correct? I
would estimate it will take you about a week to read all the threads :).
Like the rhetorical question, "which clarinet is best," the pros and cons of
buying a C clarinet have been hashed and rehashed ad infinitum ad nauseum on
the list. Sorry to sound a bit negative, but I own a wonderful 60s vintage
Noblet C clarinet and before buying it spent considerable time in the
KLARINET Archives so I've been there, done that myself. Pay special
attention to Dan Leeson's posts on the composers' choice of clarinets.
