In one movement of Grainger's Lincolnshire Posy (I cannot remember which
one, it has been so many years ago) there is one solo passage that is
written either for English horn and some other instrument, or alto clarinet
and some other instrument. It is worth taking a look, as the meters are
rather complex and the piece is a wonderful listen, also.
