the question is "do you have a bit of time?" or are you mouth piece-less? i
suggest ya look around, play some, sometimes stores aren't the right place
to shop, they tend to carry "crap" the ones that the professionals have
tossed back. One thing I've found is your never going to know unless you
try them all. I play on a lafleur that I found for very cheap in a bin of
discarded mouth pieces, i had it refaced and cleaned and its better than
any mouth piece for any price in any store. If your looking for a quick fix
look for something that is not the stock mouth piece material ( i think it
is plastic). Realistically everyone likes a different mouth piece, the dude
walter gr....something or other at
http://www.clarinetxpress.com/ apparently makes wonderful mouth pieces and
many of the people on this list play those. But he doesn't make the mouth
piece himself. it comes as a blank and he gives them a "facing" and does a
marvelous job at it from what i hear.
If you plan on playing for a while try to get a good one. if not let me
know when you want to sell the buffet. LOL.

good luck
Lucienne
