Hi Dan,

Now that I'm almost 63 I use three sets of glasses: (1) Single lenses
strictly for reading, (2) Bifocals, large upper section for computer
screens and reading sheet music, lower section for reading and (3)
bifocals, large upper section for driving and seeing the students in my
classroom and lower section for reading. I don't think I'd recommend
bifocals in which there would be a narrow upper section for seeing the
conductor and a large lower section for reading the music. Any attempt to
see the conductor clearly would probably ruin the music. Seeing a blurry
beat ought to suffice.
