I think it might be worth seeking out the two duets for vn/cl entitled
'Hausmusik' by Adolf Busch, Op 26/1-2, Breitkopf 1926/Doblinger.
His work with Kell is well known. His Sonata for clarinet and
piano Op 54 has been recorded on the Swiss label Ex Libris
CD 6108 (1991). As he played the violin and viola and his
(1st) wife Frieda sang and played the clarinet, there are
one or two other pieces of his that include
violin and clarinet: German Dance cl vn vc,
Bagatelles cl va vc, Serenade cl vn va, 12 Chorale
Preludes ( JS Bach) cl 2vn vc, Variations
cl 2vn va vc, Rilke Sonnet mezzo, choir, cl 2vn 2vc,
Suite cl vn va. His style is somewhat post-Regerish.
His dates were 1891-1952. He left Germany for
Switzerland in 1933 and was granted Swiss
citizenship in 1935, then moved to the USA in 1939.
