<<<Nice thing about Leblanc, they make a very complete range of student
through pro instruments, all very similarly laid out. You don't have to
settle for the basic Vito. You can get the V40, which has a nicer case,
wood-grain finish, K10M mouthpiece, etc,. or move into the Noblet line of
intermediate wood instruments as fits your budget. They are also very
available as used instruments and, unlike the Heimer, parts are available
and they are otherwise repairable!>>>
Admittedly, Leblanc is about the only source of my instruments. I've
tried Yamaha and few other companies and have yet to find anything which
really compares. Just out of curiosity, does anyone know how some of the
Noblet's hold up when it comes to playing p- ppp? I've played on a few
clarinet which lost a great deal of their richness and warmth in the
softer dynamics.
