I have a note question about Daphnis...one measure before 216. In my old
orchestral part the fourth sixteenth note of that measure is an A#...in
Peter Hadcock's Orchestral Clarinetist book the fourth note of the measure
before rehearsal 216 is a G#.
Which one of these notes is correct?

Hi Blake,
There are several note mistakes in the parts that we usually see and the one
you mention above is G#.

Another one is 3 measures after 162, the 3rd note from the end of the bar
should
be an Eb, same with the previous beat.

Also at 168 the 9th note in the 2nd part should be an F.

Also one measure before 208, the run should be C#, D#, E,F#, G#, A#.

Oh yes, then there's the 7th measure after 209, it should be a chromatic
run.
You might also check the second measure after 216, I think the C# and D#
should
be C and D, but I'm not sure on this one.

Hope this helps! We try to notate mistakes so we don't have to go through
the
same problems the next time we play something. If anyone else has any
others
mistakes or disagrees with the ones mentioned I would be happy to hear!
Have fun.
