Aye, there's the rub. There's more than one frequency to be "in tune" - are
your fifths "perfect" or not? Are your thirds and sevenths in equal
temperament or just temperament? How suspended is your suspended 4th?

There's more than one way to tune and the frequency will be different for
the different tunings. Some of the more expensive tuners will adjust to
different temperaments.

start to learn about different temperaments.
