Abe's post reminded me - would an over long register tube caue stuffy throat
notes? My A clarinet suffers from stuffiness in that range and I have also
noticed that I often difficulty feeding the string of a swab past the
register tube. It tends to stick there rather than falling out of the end of
the joint and takes much shaking to get it out. My clarinet is an E13. Could
it be suffering from an overlong register tube?

Also, can anyone name some good duets, of any level of difficulty, for oboe
and clarinet?
