On April 5 and 6, 2002 there will be a Contemporary Clarinet Festival at
Michigan State University featuring a wide variety of recent clarinet
music. Dan Johnston will be in attendance working with mouthpieces on
April 4, 5 and 6, and renowned Australian composer Peter Sculthorpe may
appear for a brief talk on April 6.

Michael Norsworthy graduate student at the New England Conservatory of
Music in Massachusetts.
l:30PM Tentative talk by Peter Sculthorpe
3 PM 16th Annual New Music-Avant Garde Clarinet Evening by present
Michigan State University students
7 PM Concert by Nathan Williams
Party after each evening concert and probably at times during the day.
Come to the Cabaret!
Each concert will be held in the Music Auditorium of the School of Music at
Michigan State University. All are invited to attend and there is no
admission charge.
