My teacher has had his clarinet for about 30 years and still runs quite
smoothly. The only problem is when they get that little too old when it
seems no point to get it repaired... Clarinets can sometimes mature with age
as I think I'm finding with mine. Don't change it quite yet because you
might still have time in your clarinet.
