Allied requires proof in the form of a tax I.D. that you are a dealer and or otherwise in business.

Feree's does not.

I have found both companies quite helpful in my personal efforts. I visited Ferree's last summer and got a nice tour of their facilities. I also saw some expensive tooling that I just drooled over but cannot afford yet!

I believe Ferree's now sells the old Eric Brand Repair Manual. If you're interetsed in repair this is still the "Bible" although in some areas it is outdated.

The Eric Brand manual has a great chapter on refacing mouthpieces.
