My private lesson teacher got me a Greg Smith
mouthpiece when I was in 9th grade, now I am in 12th,
I love it. I have always played with an inverted
Bonade ligature and V-12 reeds, currently: 3.5. I'm
not trying to sound "smart", but I have experienced
the inconsistency of V-12s, yet, I have learned how to
work with reeds with knives, sand paper, clippers and
such. It isn't that hard, my teacher taught me pretty
much everything.
