My experience with Queen reeds has been very very good. However, you need
to make sure you use a consistent method of working on them. At least I had
to. I used Queen 5's. I sanded the flat side some, then allowed them to
dry - and played each reed a bit every day - not too much - to break them
in. I found they had a really nice mellow sound...

I will probably go back to them. Good possibility, though I also have found
I like the Zondas and the Davie cane reeds I have tried thus far.
