Daniel's Reeds (made by a guy named Daniel -- no relation to Eddie Daniels)
are some of the best commercial reeds available. They're made of excellent
cane and are well profiled and consistent. Not many stores stock them, but
they're worth searching out.

In my opinion, though, the best commercial reeds are Vandoren Black Masters,
which are more consistent than the Traditional or V-12 models. Also, they're
a bit narrower, which gives you room to jog the reed from side to side to
find the best position.
